Andy Tan-Delli Cicchi is an associate editor at Holt, acquiring literary/upmarket fiction and select nonfiction. He’s drawn to fiction that can furnish an original way of seeing the world, whether that’s through a powerful sense of place, an irresistible voice, an urgent social critique, or a shrewd speculative hook. He’s also interested in select narrative-driven nonfiction that marries the personal with research and reportage, exploring big questions from the inside and out. An Iowa MFA graduate from Singapore and New Zealand, he’s especially interested in debut and emerging authors, writing from perspectives that are not often at the center. Previously, he was an assistant editor at Spiegel and Grau.
