Serena Jones joined Holt in 2010 after working at HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and NAL. Her list is mostly narrative nonfiction, with special interests in current events, politics, biography, social justice, science, true crime, and adventure. She also occasionally acquires women’s fiction.

Recent titles include the New York Times bestsellers Pelosi by Molly Ball, Tell Me Everything by Minka Kelly, Fat Talk by Virginia Sole-Smith, New York Times Notable Book Black Wave by Kim Ghattas, and The Irish Goodbye by Heather Aimee O’Neill, a “Read With Jenna” book club pick. Serena has worked with, among others, Stacey Abrams, Jimmy Carter, Andy Cohen, Ryan Grim, Michael Grunwald, Diane Guerrero, Deb Haaland, Skip Hollandsworth, Stephen Kinzer, Lenny Kravitz, Gretchen Morgenson, Bill O’Reilly, Tim Weiner, and Bob Woodward.
